Warzone players are getting a new stat to track in battle royale matches. For those who like to know more about the Squad Wipe Streaks in Warzone, here’s everything you need to know.

Warzone Season 2 is coming in hot, bringing brand-new content and more to the battle royale game. While excitement usually surrounds news weapons and balancing changes, there’s a lot of new content in terms of gameplay coming in Season 2.

Fortune’s Keep is back and Zombies have infiltrated the BR experience, with new Power-Ups for players to gain an advantage over enemy Operators.

As well as all this, the devs have also decided to introduce a new tracker to Warzone called Squad Wipe Streaks. For those interested in what this new HUD feature is, here’s everything you need to know about Squad Swipe Streaks in Warzone.

Warzone Squad Wipe Streaks explained

Squad Wipe Streaks are a new stat tracked in Warzone’s HUD for Season 2. This tracks how many squads you and your team have wiped back-to-back within a “set period of time,” and it’s shown on screen next to your kills, players and squads remaining, and players watching you with a “Skull and Sickles” icon.

Warzone players will have 90 seconds to eliminate their next team after a squad wipe for it to count towards the tracker. The timer resets after each wipe. After each streak, “a white flare shoots up from the last enemy player to be slain.” This is visible for around ten seconds and it allows enemy squads to track your position and stop your streak if they so wish.

This is yet another Warzone stat for players to track in-game, and it will likely become another tracker that players aim to achieve personal best with, much like kills. There will also be in-game rewards for those who reach “Squad Wipe milestones throughout Season 2 and future seasons.”

It’s also important to note that the feature will not be available in Ranked Play.
