Best Haymaker loadout for Modern Warfare 3

Shotguns are ideal for close-range combat in Modern Warfare 3 and equipping the best Haymaker loadout will let you tear through enemies with ease.

Drawing inspiration from the Origin 12 featured in MW 2019, this fast-firing semi-automatic Shotgun only gets better with a Conversion Kit equipped. To take full advantage of it, here are all the attachments, Perks, and Equipment.

The XTEN Modified Choke reduces the pellet, hipfire, and Tac Stance spread and improves the damage range. Combine this with the XRK Edge BW-4 Handstop to boost the gun’s movement, sprint to fire, ADS, and aim walking speed, which is only sped up by the No Stock Mod.

Then, we opted for the Imperator Long Barrel to increase the bullet velocity and range. Lastly, the JAK Maglift Kit Conversion Kit provides a “binary trigger” allowing improved fire rate, magazine capacity to 60 Rounds, damage range, and recoil control.

While using this loadout on small maps like Shipment and Meat, players didn’t stand a chance when I was in their faces, leading to some high kill streaks.

Much like SMGs, mobility is key when using a Shotgun, so we’ll start by equipping the Infantry Vest to enhance Tac Sprint capabilities. The Commando Gloves will further boost your movement allowing you to reload while sprinting.

Combine the Covert Boots and Ghost T/V Camo to mute your footsteps and avoid detection by enemy UAVs while in motion. This lets you stealthily get around the map and use the Shotgun at its optimal range.

Then, the Semtex and Flash Grenades combination will help you disorient and quickly eliminate enemies in buildings. Simultaneously, the Trophy System Field Upgrade proves ideal for protecting yourself when taking on objectives.

How to unlock Haymaker in MW3

To unlock the Haymaker Shotgun, you’ll need to reach Level 39. However, you can also get it by successfully exfiltrating with it in Zombies.

Ensure you activate Double XP tokens to speed up your progress and reach the necessary level quickly.

Best alternatives

If you’re looking for alternatives, you should check out the Reclaimer 18 that’s modeled after the classic SPAS-12. If you haven’t unlocked either Shotgun yet, the KV Broadside has remained a solid choice.
