FaZe Booya claims meta Warzone 2 rifle loadout is “broken” in Ranked Play

Warzone 2 Season 4 introduced various balance changes to shift the meta, and Ean ‘FaZe Booya’ Chase believes he has found the best rifle loadout for Ranked.

Like most seasonal updates, Warzone 2 Season 4 brought a major shift to the game’s meta through balancing changes and the introduction of new weapons such as the ISO 45 SMG, which has been dominating the SMG category.

That said, there’s a weapon that has shot up in popularity recently, with a whopping 8.4% pick rate on WZ Ranked, and it’s an unsuspecting Battle Rifle, the SO-14.

The SO-14 hasn’t been the most popular weapon in Warzone 2 since its release, however, players like FaZe Booya are now claiming it’s the “meta” medium to long-range option in Ranked Play and even for Vondel.

So, for those interested in giving the weapon a chance, here’s FaZe Booya’s “broken” SO-14 loadout.

Barrel: 22″ Boremaster Barrel
Muzzle: Sakin Tread-40
Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56
Magazine: 50 Round Drum
Optic: Aim OP-V4

Kicking off FaZe Booya‘s Warzone 2 SO-14 Battle Rifle loadout is the 22″ Boremaster Barrel, which improves the weapon’s bullet velocity, damage range, recoil control, and hip fire accuracy.

To further reduce recoil, the Sakin Tread-40 is perfect for vertical and horizontal recoil control, while the FTAC Ripper 56 underbarrel provides some aiming idle stability and recoil stabilization.

Lastly, the 50 Round Drum provides plenty of ammo for the SO-14, whether you’d like to go all out in full auto mode or single fire, and the Aim OP-V4 is a great optic for those medium to long-range engagements.

FaZe Booya recommends using this weapon with the new ISO 45 SMG, as that is the combination of weapons he has been running in Ranked Play and getting a lot of success with.
