Warzone 2 players flock to rifle that outguns meta weapons with surprisingly “nuts” TTK

Following the major TTK changes in Warzone 2 Season 4, CoD guru WhosImmortal has revealed a rifle with a faster time-to-kill than the game’s meta weapons and is a “beast” with the right setup.

Warzone 2 Season 4 brought plenty of content to the CoD battle royale, including the new Vondel map, some fresh weapons to try out, and a ton of buffs and nerfs. However, arguably the biggest change was a major update to player health.

All players now have 50 more base health, raising the maximum health to 300 when fully plated, up from the 250 that has been standard in Warzone 2 since launch. This change has increased the time-to-kill, meaning every weapon in the game now requires a few more shots to down an enemy.

Luckily, Warzone 2 expert WhosImmortal has revealed the forgotten rifle that has one of the game’s best TTKs following the Season 4 update. In his June 25 video breaking down the fastest-killing guns in Warzone 2 Season 4, WhosImmortal described the SO-14 as a “beast,” especially at mid-range.

The Battle Rifle has a TTK of between 730ms and 800ms, assuming you’re landing your shots and depending on whether it’s in full or semi-auto mode. Thanks to this blistering TTK, the SO-14 has seen its pick rate surge to 8.4% in Warzone 2 Season 4 according to WZ Ranked.

“Safe to say, if you’re landing shots with this thing there’s not much that’s going to be able to outgun it,” the YouTuber explained. “You master this gun and it is nuts.”

WhosImmortal began his best SO-14 loadout in Warzone 2 with the Sakin Tread-40 muzzle, which improves the Battle Rifle’s horizontal and verticle recoil to keep it on target. He also went for the Lockgrip Precision-40, for extra steadiness at mid to long-range.

Next up he picked the Aim OP-V4 for an easy-to-use optic that proved great visibility and zoom. Finally, he added 7.62 High Velocity rounds and the 50 Round Drum, allowing players to deal with multiple enemies before reloading.

The YouTuber did explain that the SO-14’s “rough” recoil can make it difficult to handle, so players in need of more accuracy could swap the High Velocity rounds for a barrel if need be.

But despite being difficult to handle in certain situations, WhosImmortal urged Warzone 2 players to give the SO-14 a try, as there are very few weapons that come close to it when it comes to TTK.
