XDefiant Double XP event explained – Dates & times
UbisoftUbisoft added new weapons like the LVOA-C and the L115 Sniper Rifle in XDefiant Season 1, and players are working hard to unlock the guns and their attachments. To help players earn them, the devs have announced a new Double XP event where players can progress faster for a short time.
Here’s when the next XDefiant Double XP event arrives and how long it’ll run for.
XDefiant Double XP event start date & time
The Double XP event gets underway on Friday, July 27, 2024, at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM BST. Ubisoft announced the date through the official XDefiant account on X.
When does Double XP event end?
The Double XP event ends on Monday, July 29, 2024, at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM BST. This gives you two days to grind and unlock the attachments you’ve been eyeing up before the progression returns to normal.
Don’t worry, though, this is unlikely to be the last time that one of these events takes place, as other FPS titles, including MW3 and Warzone, hold them regularly.
Double XP event explained
This Double XP events offer Double Weapon XP only. This means that the rate at which your guns level up increases dramatically, but the speed of player progression remains unchanged.
It’s also worth noting that Double XP Boosters stack during the event. If you have any free weapon XP booster tokens available, then you will receive 4 times the XP for the 20 minutes that they’re active.
It isn’t clear at the time of writing how often Ubisoft plans to hold these Double XP weekends, but we expect them to take place fairly regularly.
