There are plenty of guns to choose from when playing XDefiant’s Server Test Session, making the selection process tough. Here’s a ranked list of every weapon and a countdown of the best guns in XDefiant.

The XDefiant Server Test Session is underway until April 21 allowing players to enjoy Ubisoft’s FPS. To make the most out of it, choosing your weapon is crucial. However, this could be a challenging decision, especially if you’re unfamiliar with the game’s arsenal.

We’ve ranked all the guns in the game and counted down the best weapons you can use in XDefiant.

10. MP5A2

The classic MP5 grants great movement and damage for close and mid-range combat.

The MP5A2 is a great pick if you’re looking for a weapon with great mobility, damage, and fire rate. This SMG is incredibly easy to use and feels familiar, which proves worthwhile when joining a new game like XDefiant.

9. M16A4

The M16A4 is a reliable burst weapon to use across any range in XDefiant.

The M16A4 is XDefiant’s burst Assault Rifle, offering power and range at the expense of fire rate and mobility. This weapon can do serious damage as long as you hit the target with all the bullets of a burst, but its reliance on perfect accuracy doesn’t make it a popular pick.

8. RPK-74 – Best LMG in XDefiant

The only LMG to claim a spot among the best weapons, you won’t run out of bullets with the RPK-74.

Despite being one of the most popular weapons in XDefiant’s previous beta session, the RPK-74 is surpassed by other popular weapons. However, it remains the best LMG in XDefiant given its AK-47-like feel, with great firepower and a ton of ammo in the base magazine.

7. P90

Easy to use, comfortable, and boasting a great fire rate, the P90 claims a spot among the best weapons.

While it seems to have many drawbacks, the P90 is reminiscent of its Call of Duty alternative. This SMG has the largest default magazine size, meaning you can add an attachment elsewhere. Also, it allows you to be aggressive and snappy given its great mobility and damage.

6. TAC-50 – Best Sniper in XDefiant

Looking to take down enemies from afar? The TAC-50 should definitely be your pick.

For those who love quickscoping or just sniping, the TAC-50 is a dream weapon to use. This Sniper is easily the best one in XDefiant featuring incredible damage range and mobility, making it a one-shot machine.

This is by far my favorite weapon to use thanks to the stunning sensation when you land your shots correctly and in quick succession.

5. AK-47

A classic FPS gun, the AK-47 is a reliable weapon to use in XDefiant.

The classic AK-47 is a hard-hitting Assault Rifle that can do some serious work, with best-in-class firepower, its overall stats make it a reliable gun in the game. However, its lack of control prevents it from being among the top three weapons in XDefiant.

4. Vector .45 ACP

The Vector .45 ACP has great damage values to cover both short and mid-range fights.

The Vector .45 ACP is a great close-range option in XDefiant, with a crazy fire rate and decent damage. However, the weapon fails to perform outside of its close-range sweet spot, holding it back from taking the best SMG in the game spot.

3. MP7 – Best SMG in XDefiant

Boasting impressive fire rate and mobility, the MP7 should be your top close-range choice.

The MP7 claims the best SMG spot in XDefiant, with a blistering fire rate, impressive damage, and mobility. This SMG is excellent for players who like to rush around the map and outplay enemies. It’s a go-to pick on smaller maps.

2. M4A1

The M4A1 is great to cover mid to long ranges in XDefiant.

Just like most shooters with the weapon, the M4A1 is always near the top of the best weapon rankings. This well-rounded Assault Rifle can perform well at every range, boasting incredible damage and fire rate. No matter your playstyle, this AR will be a great ally to have in battle.

The ACR 6.8 is the best weapon in XDefiant. This powerful Assault Rifle has great recoil control and damage range. When equipped with the right attachments, the mobility and accuracy can be vastly improved allowing you to destroy opponents in multiplayer matches.
