Ubisoft launched XDefiant’s Server Test Session, and here’s everything you need to play the XDefiant early, including the test start date, and more

The XDefiant dev team released the Server Test Session, allowing players to try the game out and help them test the server’s stability and known issues to secure a global release date for the shooter.

When does XDefiant Server Test Session end?

The XDefiant Server Test Session will end on April 21 at 4 PM PST / 7:00 PM ET / 12:00 AM BST (Monday, April 21). It went live on Friday, April 19, 2024, at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM BST.

It was supposed to end at 10 AM PST but was extended for six hours following the request of former Call of Duty pro, streamer, and 100 Thieves CEO Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag.

I know it's very last minute but @Nadeshot asking for an extension pulled at my heartstrings so…

The XDefiant Server Test Session is available worldwide for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. This Test won’t be available for players on last-gen consoles.

How to download XDefiant Server Test Session

To download the XDefiant Server Test Session, players will need to search for “XDefiant – Server Test Session” on their platform’s store.

If you played an XDefiant Test before and kept the game saved in your library, that will “eventually be the final launch product,” devs stated in the blog, but won’t be useful to play the Server Test Session.

When interacting with the PC link, the game will be added to your Ubisoft Connect PC library, so just head to your library and download the game from there.

The XDefiant team announced that players who jump into the Server Test Session and complete challenges can obtain exclusive rewards, which will be available later on the game’s release.
