Starfield has several hidden mysteries, with one of the most popular ones being a puzzle that players can locate at the Temple Eta. If you’re looking to complete the “Into the Unknown” quest and trying to solve its riddles, here’s all you need to know to get through Temple Eta in Starfield.

Starfield challenges players to explore and unlock every secret possible while surviving dangerous ship battles and completing the main story. Even the first faction you’ll join is called Constellation, a group of explorers who will want you to hunt for Artifacts buried all throughout the galaxy.

You’ll be given a mission called “Into the Unknown” by the Constellation, in which you need to head to a strange planet and make your way into a place called Temple Eta. However, it’ll not be that easy as you’ll need to solve a mysterious puzzle inside the Temple Eta.

If you’re trying to complete the “Into the Unknown” quest, here’s how to find Temple Eta and solve its puzzle in Starfield.

How to locate Temple Eta in Starfield

Start the quest by speaking to Vladimir in The Eye.

Temple Eta in Starfield is located in Procyon 3, in the Procyon A system. You will be directed towards this mysterious point of interest by Vladimir after you successfully uncovered two Artifacts and found Andreja.

Reaching Procyon 3 is fairly easy in Starfield as you will be assisted by a marker. However, upon landing, you will find that there is no definite marker present to direct you to your objective. Well, this is because you will have to find the temple in your own way.

To reach Temple Eta, follow these steps:

Bring out your scanner by pressing the F button on your keyboard (LB if you are on an Xbox) and search for anomalies in the signal.
Move the camera around until you see deformations in the large circle in the middle of the scanner. Keep heading towards the direction where you are witnessing the deformations.
You might encounter certain gravitational anomalies along the way as you move toward the source of all this commotion.
Soon you should be able to see a large gothic structure at a distance with such rock deformities and anomalies in Prcyon 3 in Starfield.

To confirm if you are heading toward the right place, press E on the POI icon in your scanner to reveal the location. It should show Temple Eta if you are close enough.

How to solve the puzzle inside Temple Eta in Starfield

Solving the puzzle inside Temple Eta is quite easy.

You will have to move through all the sparkling energy clusters to solve Temple Eta’s puzzle in Starfield. As you get inside the temple, you will notice a metal structure with several circular rings in the middle moving slowly in zero gravity.

There will be sparkling balls of energy constantly spawning around you through which you will have to pass. You need to be quick, as if you break the sequence, the wheel will stop spinning and you’ll need to start all over.

Pressing the Boostpack key (Shift on PC, Y on Xbox), will give you a quick boost so you can reach the energy sources fast before the sequence collapses.

As you go through these, you will notice that the spinning motion of the structure starts to accelerate. Keep going through these energy clusters until the structure spins uncontrollably fast and a small cutscene follows.

This will reward you with your first power called Anti-Gravity Field, which is extremely useful to crowd control enemies. You can find more such powers while exploring and finding such temples throughout the galaxy in Starfield.
