Fans may have bid farewell to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, but there appears to be more on the horizon as players point out some indications for things to come.

With the mainline Pokemon Scarlet and Violet journey, DLCs, and Kitakami Epilogue wrapped up, most fans are in awe of the game, thanks to its intriguing storyline and exciting new Pokemon.

Now, trainers who have completed the entire game usually engage in shiny hunting and battle Raids to catch unique Tera Types of popular Pokemon, but it looks like you may soon have something new as fans are sure that there’s more on the cards in Gen 9.

Talks of new additions to Gen 9 started doing the rounds among the Pokemon Go community on Reddit after a user named ‘M_O_K_S’ posted about the changing opening screens from morning to evening, as the game progressed from Paldea to the Epilogue.

The OP suggested that the last opening screen, not showing nighttime, hints that there’s more to the story.

Some fans were high on this detail, as they commented: “That’s actually a really interesting thing to think about” and “I agree. It’s interesting to note you still have the Scarlet/Violet book with you,” referring to the general opinion that the lore behind Paradox Pokemon still isn’t clear.

While others dismissed OP’s theory by stating that a sunset represents the end, a few Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players had some solid pieces of evidence to add.

After a user wrote: “There is a belief among some fans that we’re still due 1 mythical,” a fan replied: “That’s straight up been leaked already; a movie is coming out that will feature the last mythical, and then it’ll be put into the game.” In fact, fans may have also found the Mythical Pokemon’s secret lair in Area Zero.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players were finally able to catch Terapagos at the end of Indigo Disk DLC.

Another added: “There’s also the alternate Tera-forms for the Box Legends that were datamined but we still haven’t gotten access to. I could see them swapping the Pokeball from the first screen for a Tera Orb & transitioning to a night sky full of stars once that’s released/completed.”

If all these weren’t enough already, a player mentioned another likely detail, straight from the Paldean map.

“Well, what’s the deal with the blacked-out section of the Paldea map in the northeast?! Like surely they didn’t put that there for no reason? I always thought that was gonna open up with the DLC but now it’s still there.. that HAS to be something right?” they asked.
