How to get Dialga & Palkia Origin Forms in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

Legends Arceus introduced the mighty Origin Forms for Palkia and Dialga, which can also be obtained in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Players will need to use certain items when bringing the Gen 4 Legendaries into Paldea from Pokemon HOME.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet pack a few of the creatures found in the Hisui region of Legends Arceus. The game introduced players to Sinnoh’s past, a region named Hisui, alongside its lore, and new forms for well-known Legendary Pokemon.

Palkia and Dialga represent Space and Time, but as seen in Omega Ruby and Alpha Saphire with Kyogre and Groudon, they have a powerful final form. The Origin Forme for Palkia and Dialga transforms them into horse-like figures with new stats and new strategies.

If you have a Palkia or Dialga transferred from Pokemon HOME, or captured one in the latest Tera Raid battles, you’ll need to know how to get their Origin Forms in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: How to get Dialga and Palkia Origin Forme

To unlock the Origin Forms of Palkia and Dialga in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, players will need to obtain the Lustrous Globe and Adamant Crystal items. They can be purchased at the Porto Marinada Auction on random days, so be sure to check that often.

Many Legendary Pokemon items can be obtained at this auction. With the imminent release of The Indigo Disk DLC that introduces many new Pokemon to the game, you will need to visit this store regularly to get every single one available.

How to transform Dialga & Palkia into Origin Forms in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

To transform Origin Forme Dialga and Palkia in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you will need to give them the Lustrous Globe and Adamant Crystal held items. The Globe is for Palkia and the Crystal is for Dialga, each granting an additional 20% damage boost to moves that match their types.

Players can transfer Palkia and Dialga from Legends Arceus into Pokemon HOME, but held items cannot be transferred. Since the Sinnoh Legendary Pokemon need these to transform, it doesn’t matter how you got the Pokemon in Paldea, you will need to buy the Globe and Crystal from the Auction in Porto Marinada.
