The Hisuian Pokemon from Legends Arceus can join you in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, but finding or evolving them is no easy feat. With The Indigo Disk DLC already out, many Hisuian creatures can be caught in the wilds of the Terarium, so here’s all you need to know.

Pokemon from the Hisui region available in Pokemon Legends Arceus can be obtained in Scarlet and Violet. The regional variants from Hisui include forms for Zoroark, Dialga, Palkia, Typhlosion, and Arcanine, but not all of them can evolve from their base forms.

Here’s everything you need to know about every Hisuian Pokemon available in Scarlet and Violet.

How to get Hisuian Pokemon in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

To obtain Pokemon from the Hisui region in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you need to transfer some from Pokemon HOME, unlock them a The Teal Mask DLC side quest, or catch them in the wilds of The Indigo Disk DLC. This way, players can have Enamorus or even the Noble Pokemon Kleavor in their teams.

Some Hisuian Pokemon can be obtained and caught in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

On The Teal Mask DLC, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players were tasked with a series of side quests on Kitakami Island. Photographer Perrin tasks players with obtaining all Kitakami Pokedex entries. By doing so, players were able to get Hisuian Growlithe as a gift and start a quest to catch Bloodmoon Ursaluna.

You can also catch Kleavor, Scyther’s Hisuian evolution, and Hisuian Qwilfish in The Indigo Disk DLC’s new area, the Terarium. The last one can be evolved into Overqwil by learning Barb Barage at level 28 and leveling up.

All Hisuian Pokemon in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

Using Pokemon HOME to transfer Hisuian Pokemon from Legends Arceus will let you bring the creatures from Sinnoh’s past into Scarlet and Violet. Here’s every Pokemon that you can bring from the Hisui region into Scarlet and Violet:

  • Hisuian Arcanine
  • Hisuian Avalugg
  • Hisuian Braviary
  • Hisuian Decidueye
  • Hisuian Electrode
  • Hisuian Goodra
  • Hisuian Growlithe
  • Hisuian Lilligant
  • Hisuian Qwilfish
  • Hisuian Samurott
  • Hisuian Sliggoo
  • Hisuian Sneasel
  • Hisuian Typhlosion
  • Hisuian Voltorb
  • Hisuian Zoroark
  • Hisuian Zorua
  • Kleavor
  • Wyrdeer
  • Basculegion
  • Ursaluna
  • Sneasler
  • Overqwil
  • Enamorous (Incarnate and Therian Forms)
  • Palkia & Dialga (Origin Forms)

Something important to remember is that every non-Hisuian form Pokemon will not evolve into their respective Hisuian form in Paldea, regardless of their origin. Quilava will still evolve into a regular Typhlosion, and the only way to obtain its Ghost/Fire-type is by evolving it in Legends Arceus and transferring it.

How to evolve Hisuian forms in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

Almost every Pokemon that has a Hisuian base form can evolve into their respective Hisuian evolutions in Scarlet and Violet. To do this, you will need a series of items and steps to complete. Here’s everything you need to know:

  • Growlithe → Arcanine: Use a Fire Stone on Hisuian Growlithe.
  • Sneasel → Sneasler: Level up Hisuian Sneasel while holding a Razor Claw during the day.
  • Voltorb → Electrode: Use a Leaf Stone on Hisuian Voltorb.
  • Zorua → Zoroark: Level up Hisuian Zorua to Level 30.
  • Qwilfish → Overqwil: Learn Barb Barage at level 28 and level up one more time.
  • Basculin → Basculegion: A Hisuian Basculin needs to take 294 HP in recoil damage to evolve.
  • Sliggoo → Goodra: Level up Hisuian Sliggoo to Level 50 during rainy weather.
  • Palkia & DialgaOrigin Forms: Give them the Lustrous Globe and Adamant Orb to hold.

Stantler can’t evolve in Paldea since it needs the battle-style system present in Pokemon Legends Arceus. This means that Wyrdeer can only be obtained by transferring it from the Pokemon HOME app.
