How to get Roaming Form Ghimmighoul and Ghimmigoul coins in Pokemon Go

Once your accounts are paired, here is how to get Roaming Form Ghimmighoul in Pokemon Go:

  1. Tap on your profile in Pokemon Go.
  2. Tap ‘Postcard Book’.
  3. Select any postcard (you need to have at least one pinned postcard you’ve received from friends).
  4. Tap the icon with three bars and select ‘Send to Nintendo Switch’.
  5. Tap ‘Send,’ then ‘Yes,’ then ‘Ok’.
  6. You will automatically receive a Coin Bag that can be found in your Item Bag.
  7. Tap on the Coin Bag and then select ‘Open’.

The newly introduced Coin Bag works exactly like an Incense but with a special focus on Roaming Form Ghimmighoul. You’ll be able to encounter Gimmighoul for the next half hour, so make sure you have useful items like berries and space in your Pokemon Storage. You can use the Coin Bag once per day.

Catching Ghimmighoul will give players a certain amount of Ghimmighoul coins. Players need 999 Ghimmighoul coins to evolve Roaming Form Ghimmighoul into Gholdengo.

Other ways of getting coins include adventuring with Gimmighoul as your buddy, using the new Golden Lure Module on PokeStops, and sending multiple postcards to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet in one day.
