GTA 6 is arguably the most-anticipated game in recent memory, despite the fact that no official details have been released. While fans got an early look at the follow-up to GTA 5 through a major gameplay leak in 2022, Rockstar Games are yet to share any information about the game.
That’s all set to change very soon, however, as the devs have announced that the wait for the first GTA 6 trailer is almost over.

GTA 6 trailer release date & time
The GTA 6 trailer will be released on Tuesday, December 5, at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET / 2 PM GMT as revealed by Rockstar Games‘ on X (formerly Twitter).
The devs had previously revealed that the GTA 6 trailer will drop in “early December.” The news was confirmed by Rockstar President, Sam Houser, in an X thread.
It’s worth noting that the post didn’t mention GTA 6 specifically, instead, it teased a first look at the “next Grand Theft Auto.” This means it’s still possible that the new game could use a different name, much like GTA San Andreas and Vice City. The latest post which revealed the release date also has no mention of GTA 6.
The contents of this highly-anticipated trailer haven’t been revealed. While fans will no doubt be hoping for an in-depth look at GTA 6 gameplay, it might be more realistic to expect a short teaser that confirms the long-rumored and leaked Vice City setting.
Players will also have their fingers crossed that this first look will finally announce the GTA 6 release date. Recent leaks have hinted at a 2025 launch, but this could be an opportunity for the devs to put an end to the speculation and nail down a final date.
