Rockstar Games have finally made a GTA 6 announcement, revealing that a trailer for the next Grand Theft Auto title is arriving in early December.

After years of waiting, it’s finally happening — every GTA 6 fan’s dream has come true. Rockstar seem to have opened up about a GTA 6 trailer after formally announcing development earlier this year. In an official statement, Rockstar Games co-founder and President Sam Houser addressed fans, informing them that a trailer for the upcoming Grand Theft Auto title is arriving in December.

Grand Theft Auto fans have been waiting for this moment for what seems like ages now. GTA 5, the last title from the renowned open-world franchise, came out a decade ago, and since then, Rockstar have been mostly making content for its multiplayer counterpart — GTA Online.

The GTA Trilogy remasters weren’t well received by the community, and the rumors about a canceled GTA 4 remaster disappointed them further. However, since October 2023, there have been increasing reports of a GTA 6 announcement coming this year.

Insider “Tez2” anticipated an official GTA 6 reveal “coming soon,” and on November 7, even renowned video game journalist Jason Schreier predicted a reveal “as early as this week.” After publishing the article, Rockstar also shared the news on X. They mentioned that “next month marks the 25th anniversary of Rockstar Games,” which is likely why the GTA 6 trailer will be released at that time.

After thanking fans for their “incredible support,” Rockstar explained why their company was founded, adding: “We hope that we have created games you love in our efforts to be part of that evolution.” They ended the article by revealing that a GTA 6 trailer will be coming in early December.

They haven’t mentioned an exact date, but “early December” implies that we can expect to see it before Christmas. As a GTA fan, all you have to do now is wait for the trailer to drop.
