Largemouth Bass in Stardew Valley

The Largemouth Bass is one of the fishes you’ll need to complete several quests in Stardew Valley. If you’re wondering how to catch it, here’s everything you need to know about it, including seasons, recipes, gifting list, and more.

Stardew Valley asks players to keep an eye out for all sorts of collectibles that can be found in Pelican Town and beyond. While only some of them, such as the Prismatic Shard and the Dinosaur Egg, are quite challenging to find, there are some that you can easily get just by paying attention to the seasons.

The Largemouth Bass is a type of fish that’s not only frequently required in Town Board Quests, but it’s also one of the creatures you’ll need to complete the Fish Tank Bundle at the Community Center. While it isn’t difficult to catch, there are a few things you’ll need to know when trying to find it.

Here’s everything you need to know to fish Largemouth Bass in Stardew Valley, including where you can find it, which recipes you can make with it, and more.

Stardew Valley: Where & when to find Largemouth Bass

In Stardew Valley, you can find Largemouth Bass in the mountain lake or the Wilderness Farm during all seasons. While we recommend you focus on catching it during Spring and Fall, you’ll also have a small chance of getting it during Summer and Winter.

Remember that the best time of the day to catch a Largemouth Bass is from 6 AM to 7 PM, although you can catch it any time if you’re using Magic Bait.

If you’re not fond of fishing, you can also try your luck while rummaging in Garbage Cans or even buying it at the Traveling Cart for about 300g-100g. If you have enough hearts with Linus, he’ll also send a Largemouth Bass randomly in the mail as a gift.
