Ships in Sea of Thieves

Don’t fancy your Sloop and want to buy a new ship in Sea of Thieves? Here’s how to buy a brand-new ship in the game, one that suits your crew.

As you begin your rags-to-riches tale in Sea of Thieves, you’ll have to choose between the only three available ships, which depends on your crew size

But if you want to buy one later, here’s how to buy a ship in Sea of Thieves.

How to purchase a ship in Sea of Thieves

To buy a ship in Sea of Thieves, follow these steps:

  1. Head to the game’s main menu
  2. Then click on ‘Play’
  3. From there, select ‘My Ships’
  4. Finally, click on ‘Purchase Ship’ and select which ship you want to buy

You can then name your ship, and it’ll be ready to sail at the moment you start playing again.

What are the different ship classes in Sea of Thieves?

You have three ships to choose from in Sea of Thieves: the Sloop, the Brigantine, and the Galleon. The Sloop is the smallest and most suitable for a small crew of two or solo players; the Brigantine can work for any crew with a maximum of three members, and the Galleon is for a large crew of four.

Here’s how much they’ll cost each in Sea of Thieves.

  • Sloop: 250,000 Gold.
  • Brigantine: 3,75,000 Gold.
  • Galleon: 500,000 Gold.

There’s lots of hard-plundered Gold at stake here, so be wise when you choose. That’s everything about buying a ship in Sea of Thieves, but for more on the game, as well as other pirate adventures, check out:
