The latest Fortnite update has added some amazing godly powers, and players can’t get enough of how amazing some fights can get with them. Here’s what the Fortnite community has been talking about.

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 has players experimenting with its new Greek mythology-inspired content, which hasn’t only introduced new POIs, but also mythic powers that can only be obtained after looting Olympus or Underworld chests. Of course, this hasn’t stopped fans from getting them, which has resulted in some more-than-epic encounters.

In a Reddit post called “Clash of the gods,” a user named ‘darkmagic853 surprised fans with an amazing fight between two players that were making use of both Wings of Icarus, and the Thunderbolt of Zeus. The clip shows how both players use their wings to get close to each other and quickly summon their Thunderbolts for an electric showdown that ends in a Victory Royale.

Players quickly gathered in the post and were amazed at the battle. “The wings are absolutely UNREAL, I LOVE them. The new stuff is so cool I almost don’t care when I get knocked by it. I’m just happy to be there,” read a comment.

While some Fortnite fans noted that Wings of Icarus were getting harder to master due to snipers shooting them down, others agreed that these mythic powers could get fast enough to avoid any hunters.

Others also noted that mythic powers made them remember some much-acclaimed features from Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4, which got many nostalgic players excited. “Fortnite has finally made mythics abilities that aren’t overpowered AND are fun asf to use. I’ve been waiting for this day since the Goku mythics,” commented a player.

And that’s everything about why Fortnite players are amazed at how “unreal” mythic powers look during an epic showdown.
