Forgotten Warzone 2 SMG has one of the fastest TTKs in Season 1 Reloaded

Warzone 2 expert WhosImmortal has shown off a loadout for a mostly forgotten SMG that actually has one of Al Mazrah’s best TTKs and virtually no recoil.

Ever since Warzone 2 arrived at the end of 2022, a handful of weapons have dominated the meta and appeared in almost every match. The RPK, in particular, has been the number one choice thanks to its power at long-range and impressive magazine size.

Meanwhile, the Fennec 45 has controlled the close-range meta and established itself as Warzone 2’s go-to Sniper support weapon, mostly due to its blistering time-to-kill.

But as players grow tired of using the same handful of guns, CoD guru WhosImmortal has revealed that the Vel 46, better known as the MP7, has a TTK that can rival the Fennec and has next to no recoil.

In an upload to his YouTube channel, WhoImmortal broke down the fastest-killing SMGs in Warzone 2 and found that the Vel 46 has 841ms TTK at up to 24 meters, making it “very competitive” against other weapons in its class.

Despite the strong TTK, the MP7 has a pick rate of just 0.7% according to WZ Ranked, making it only the fifth most popular SMG in the game. However, WhosImmortal insisted that it’s more than capable of becoming a meta weapon.

“This thing obviously works well at close range because it is an SMG, but like I said earlier it also has some of that mid-range for some Sniper support, hybrid action,” he explained. “[It’s a] really consistent gun that I’m definitely going to be using more.”

Muzzle: Lockshot KT85
Laser: VLK LZR 7MW
Rear Grip: Schlager Soldier Grip
Underbarrel: XTEN Drop Grip
Stock: Demo RXT Stock

WhosImmortal kicked off his Vel 46 loadout with the Schlager Soldier Grip, VLK LZR 7MW, and Demo RXT Stock for better ADS and sprint-to-fire speeds, allowing players to land those crucial first shots faster than the enemy.

Then, he added the XTEN Drop Grip for extra stability and hipfire accuracy, ideal for when players get the drop on you. Finally, he used the Lockshot KT85 Muzzle to curb nearly all of the SMG’s recoil in all directions, keeping it on target at mid-range.

With this build you should have no trouble hitting your shots with laser accuracy, allowing you to unlock the Vel 46’s unbelievable TTK in every fight.
