Encountering Call of Duty: Warzone 2 server issues can be extremely frustrating as they prevent you from playing the game. Here’s Warzone 2’s current server status and how to check if the servers are down.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2 is finally here with all of Modern Warfare 2’s weapons, the massive Al Mazrah map, and new mechanics such as Interrogating, Strongholds, and changes to looting with the new Backpack and Armor systems.

With the highly anticipated game going live at the same time worldwide, hundreds of thousands of players will be logging in for the first time which could cause connection issues, server queues, or even prevent them from playing entirely.

Here’s everything you need to know about Warzone 2’s server status, and how to check whether the servers are down.

Are Warzone 2 servers down?

Call of Duty: Warzone 2’s servers are live, but some players may experience issues given the massive amount of players attempting to play following the highly anticipated launch.

While no official problems have been announced, it’s expected that players will run into some Warzone 2 server issues on November 16.

Otherwise, the sequel seems to be running smoothly. Warzone 2 servers are working properly across all platforms, and you can currently hop into the game’s online matches.

As Warzone 2 became playable, Warzone Caldera, the original game, got taken offline until November 28 when it will return without Rebirth Island and Fortune’s Keep.

If you’re experiencing server problems with Warzone, we recommend checking out either the Activision Support Twitter page or Raven Software’s Twitter account. Raven, who led development on the original game after Cold War’s release, are leading communication for Warzone 2 so they’re the best place for updates.

Or, players can head to the Activision Support website where they include the server status of all Call of Duty games.
