Diablo 4 players are enjoying the new Blood Harvest event in Season 2 as they feel it is much better for gathering loot than Nightmare Dungeons.

Diablo 4 Season 2 is heading towards its conclusion and players are preparing for new upcoming events and activities. The devs have already announced the date for the next Campfire Chat livestream, where they’ll discuss more fixes and updates.

Blood Harvest is a new in-game activity, similar to Helltides in Diablo 4 Season 2, that players can use to gain some loot and XP. Some players have really fallen in love with it due to the loot they have achieved by running through this activity.

Reddit user ‘TMDan92’ claimed that loot from Nightmare Dungeons is “outclassed” by the Blood Harvest. With several beefy vampiric elites found in Blood Harvests, players can farm their preferred loot by running through these areas.

The OP added Nightmare Dungeons “solely exist to grind XP” because they did not get “a single useful item” after tackling them. However, they regularly got their desired items from Blood Harvests and claimed that they were much better for farming loot.

Some Hardcore Diablo 4 players also agreed with the OP as they said Nightmare Dungeons mostly drop Sacred gear. Others added that Blood Harvest is an “absolute win” in the game, and is great for leveling in Hardcore mode.

“Uniques drop like crazy in Blood Harvest,” added another player as they found Blood Harvests to be “awesome” in Diablo 4. Others agreed and mentioned that Nightmare Dungeons are “not fun anymore.”

With Nightmare Dungeons not being the first choice anymore for farming loot in the community, many appreciate the addition of Blood Harvest in Season 2 and hope for more similar features in upcoming seasons.
