Diablo 4 Season 3 saw the arrival of the Nightmare Vaults. However, players have expressed their unhappiness with respect to the activity.

Blizzard introduced Nightmare Vaults in Diablo 4 Season 3, which function just like the Nightmare Dungeons. To unlock them you will have to first make your way to World Tier 3 and then craft Nightmare Vault Sigils.

Despite initial interested in the new Nightmare Vaults, players are now calling out their repetitive nature, as they notices that each run features a similar layout, making the process monotonous.

Player ‘greenchair11’ talked about these Nightmare Vaults on Reddit, and dubbed it as a “faulty seasonal mechanic” for something that players were expected to run throughout the season.

According to them, not only did these Nightmare Vaults in Diablo 4 have the same layout for every single run, they also claimed that the loot wasn’t great either.

Redditor ‘kaoshosh’ responded to the thread and said, “Blizz isn’t gonna develop content outside of expansions. They’re lazy and greedy. Don’t expect anything and you’ll still be disappointed.” For context, a new expansion for Diablo 4, Vessel of Hatred is currently in the works and is scheduled to release later this year.

Another player ‘batboy 132’ commented on the post and said, “Blizzard feels like they are recycling far TOO MUCH…. so they are just gonna set your expectations to 1. We will have one map and we will like it.” Overall, the community is very upset with how Diablo 4 Season 3 has turned out.

There have been some really negative responses on Reddit, with players calling out the developers for “cheap” Season 3 content. Others have also expressed disappointment over the Battle Pass and have called the current reward track very dull.

Considering that the season is already live, there’s very little to no chance of the developers changing the pre-existing content in Diablo 4. However, all this negative feedback could push Blizzard towards introducing a midseason patch that includes more Nightmare Vaults or some procedurally generated maps.
