Midwinter Blight gave players a chance to challenge themselves with limited-time quests and rewards that were only available during the holiday season.

Here’s everything that happened during the Diablo 4 Midwinter Blight event, including its settings, and rewards.

Diablo 4 Midwinter Blight dates

The Diablo 4 Midwinter Blight event started on December 12 and wrapped up on January 2, 2024, at 10 AM PST / 1 PM EST / 6 PM GMT.

Diablo 4 Midwinter Blight setting and events

The Midwinter Blight event in Diablo 4 took place in Kyovashad, the capital city of Fractured Peaks.

Players had the unique chance to meet a bard named Gileon, who warned them about a nearby storm in Kyovashad. Then, he sent them to find a new festive space in Kyovashad, with a “Totem of Midwinter,” which was the subject of attention in Diablo 4 Midwinter Blight.

After completing the first part of the event, Diablo 4 players had to explore some of the darkest areas in the game and fend off new monsters such as Frigid Husks and Blightfiends. After cleaning the area, they faced the prime boss of this location, known as the Red-Cloaked Terror.

Players could rank in this event like the Hunter’s Acclaim Board by killing hordes of frost enemies and fighting the boss at the end. Killing the boss granted you several rewards that are essential in progression through the Diablo 4 winter event.
