MW3 players are not too happy with the new The Boys LTM that was introduced in the Season 1 Reloaded update, describing it as the “worst event mode” the devs have brought to the game.

MW3 Season 1 Reloaded has officially arrived, bringing some new weapons and Ranked Play along with it. While many players will be concerned with the new guns, one of which is reminding players of an iconic Verdansk AR, some are more interested in the new multiplayer content.

This includes the new The Boys LTM, Supe’d Up, which comes alongside the A-Train and Firecracker Operator bundles. This new MW3 LTM sees you collecting vials of Temp V in exchange for abilities such as super speed and durability. The more you collect, the more abilities you gain.

While it sounds fun, and the event mode also has some new challenges and rewards up for grabs, some in the community are not too happy with the mode.

Reddit user ‘LadyDelama’ even went as far as to call it the “worst event mode” the devs have ever added to the game, describing it as “unbearable,” as players run around with abilities “using knives.”

They explain that players running towards you “with a knife after you just spawned and have no armor, only to be instantly killed after putting 9 hitmarkers into them is the worst feeling ever.”

According to the OP, once you start dying to those with abilities, the LTM becomes a “meat grinder…because you can’t get back into the game anymore and you just start losing by more and more.”

They aren’t the only ones who feel this way either, as one comment read, “got all my challenges done that I needed the mode for and now I am done playing it.”

Another agreed, “I feel this, it took me losing 9 rounds in a row before I finally got another win and that was my 7/7. Now to never touch the mode again.”

One player even went as far as to call it “absolutely unbearable,” while another also called the mode the “worst mode [they’ve] ever played.”

Luckily, it’s an optional mode, but, those who like to get challenges and rewards done may have to endure the mode until you get them completed.
