MW3 players call for simple Shipment change to fix “horrific” matches

Modern Warfare 3 features a new version of Shipment, the iconic chaotic map from the original Modern Warfare. However, players aren’t happy with a specific aspect of the map.

MW3 brings back some nostalgia with a host of classic maps from the original Call of Duty: Modern Warfare series.

Every original MW2 map like Favela, Highrise, and Terminal are all included, but the devs went an extra step by adding Shipment, the legendary small map from Modern Warfare that has been brought back so many times now it is almost a staple of Call of Duty multiplayer.

While the community usually loves the map, especially those who are looking to get right into the action for challenges, there’s one issue that players are having with the MW3 version.

Reddit user ‘fauchis_garci’ put a post in the MW3 subreddit highlighting this issue, as they said, “Please put the fricking SUN over Shipment.”

The OP explained why they would like more light and for the “sun” to make an appearance in MW3‘s Shipment, as they said, “Whenever I try to level up weapons on Shipment I just can’t,” as there are “so many dark corners where dark skins go unnoticed until too late. Just put some light lmao.”

They call the map’s dark lighting a “joke,” and they aren’t the only ones who feel this way. In the comments, one player said they would “prefer some sunshine on Shipment,” while another wrote, “The map is so stupidly dark that I have to turn the brightness up on my monitor, making everything super washed out.”

Some feel that the MW2019 version of Shipment was “the best,” as it had “better visibility.” We’ll have to wait and see if anything changes with Shipment, and as many enjoyed the lighting change for the Christmas version of Shipment, perhaps the devs will consider some tweaks.

Until then, make sure you check out everything we know about the MW3 Season 1 Reloaded update.
