MW3 players praise surprise Shipment change in Season 2 Reloaded
ActivisionMW3 players are praising the devs as Season 2 Reloaded has brought a massive change to the beloved Shipment map.
Shipment is arguably one of the most beloved Call of Duty maps of all time, so it was no surprise to see it reintroduced with MW3.
The map has been in the game for some time, but like anything, players had strong opinions about which version is the best. The version of the map that players seemed to love the most was Shipmas, a darker, Christmas-themed version of the map that features the Northern Lights and some snow.
In fact, the devs realized that players love this version of the map so much that they have decided to make it permanent in the Season 2 Reloaded update for Modern Warfare 3.
From now on, Shipment will now be the Shipmas version of the map in MW3 Multiplayer due to “popular demand.”
Shipmas was hugely popular during the Christmas event for MW3, and while players haven’t seen it since the new year, they’ll be playing a lot more of it now, especially those camo grinders who prefer playing smaller maps.
Players have been reacting to the news under CharlieIntel’s post highlighting the change. “Shipmas is WAY BETTER than regular shipment. W,” said one player.
They explained that the “visibility” is much more “clear,” making it a better experience to play.
They aren’t the only ones happy with the change, as countless comments are praising Shipmas being permanent: “WE NEEDED THIS,” commented one user, while another said, “WOW…HUGE W.”
Some were “not expecting this,” but have been pleasantly surprised by the update. We’ll have to wait and see if the devs decide to implement more heavily requested changes, as some players are even calling for “Xmas High Rise” to be thrown into the map rotation too.
