ActivisionModern Warfare 3’s Crash Site is an Open Combat mission with a bunch of collectibles scattered around the semi-open map. Here’s a list of all the items you can find and where to get them.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has a total of 15 missions, with a mix of linear and semi-open scenarios. As one of the Open Combat missions in MW3, Crash Site gives you complete control over how you want to finish it. If you’re following the plot, however, this OCM is meant to be finished stealthily.
There also are plenty of collectibles you can pick up when playing MW3’s Crash Site mission. This includes weapons, field upgrades, and plate carriers.

MW3 Crash Site: All collectibles & where to find them
Crash Site mission in Modern Warfare 3
Crash Site is the eighth mission in MW3’s campaign, in which you play as Farah, commander of the ULF (Urzikstan Liberation Force). Your objective is to infiltrate a Russian plane crash site and gather evidence in order to prevent the ULF from being framed.

Weapon locations in MW3 Crash Site
There are seven weapons you can find in MW3’s Crash Site mission, which are as follows:
- Silenced Crossbow
- Kastov 762
- Incendiary Lockwood 680
- Silenced M4
- Incendiary Raal MG
- Silenced SA-B 50
- Silenced Victus XMR
They’re strewn about the wreckage, especially in the small houses and other structures near the plane.
Field upgrade locations in MW3 Crash Site
There are three Field Upgrades you can collect during the Crash Site mission in Modern Warfare 3, which are as follows:
- Armor Box
- Heartbeat Sensor
- Munition Box
They’re all located directly outside one of the three main structures that encircle the crash site.
Plate Carrier locations in MW3 Crash Site
The Crash Site mission in MW3 contains two Plate Carrier upgrades.
You’ll find the first Plate Carrier upgrade in the northwest building, near the flight recorder you need to retrieve at the end of the mission. That’s the building with the loadout drop right outside of it. The armor upgrade is next to the armor plates on a table in the living room.
Meanwhile, you’ll find the second Carrier upgrade in the southern building, on a table in the small northern room near the armor plates.
