What is Hunt & Track in Warzone 2 Resurgence mode?
Warzone 2 Season 2 brings a new mechanic known as Hunt and Track. If you’re wondering what exactly this new feature is then we’ll go over everything that you need to know.
The Season 2 update finally arrived in Warzone 2 on February 15, bringing a ton of new content for players to check out, including powerful new weapons, fun game modes, and maps.
Another new addition that arrived as part of the Season 2 update patch is a feature known as Hunt and Track. This new mechanic is part of Warzone 2’s Resurgence mode, and here’s what it does.
What is the Hunt and Track mechanic in Warzone 2?
The Hunt and Track mechanic in Warzone 2 displays the location of squad mates of eliminated enemies on the mini-map. So, this feature makes it easier to take out the entire squad after eliminating an opponent.
However, the location of these players will only be displayed on the mini-map for a short duration. In Resurgence Solos, the Hunt and Track mechanic will instead show the location of an eliminated enemy upon redeployment for 10 seconds.

This mechanic also plays into a few new score events that shorten the respawn timer for dead teammates, and these require you to eliminate a player while they are being tracked by the Hunt mechanic. Taking out more tracked players will complete different score events.
The Hunt score event is completed by eliminating one tracked player, taking out two will complete the Hunter Double score event. Finally, Hunter Spree is completed by eliminating more than three players while they were tracked by the Hunt mechanic.
Warzone 2’s Resurgence mode brings fast-paced action in which squads are able to respawn as long as one member remains alive. The Hunt and Track mechanic can help you ensure that your squad is the last one standing.
