Modern Warfare 2 players will finally get the chance to play Gun Game as the devs confirmed that it will arrive with the Season 2 update.

When the Call of Duty Team announced the planned content set to arrive in the Season 2 update, Modern Warfare 2 players couldn’t help but feel disappointed. Warzone 2 is set to receive a ton of major changes and Modern Warfare 2 players felt ignored.

However, it seems like the devs have some surprises up their sleeves as Ranked Play, and Hardcore won’t be the only new additions in Season 2.

After leaks revealed that several party modes could make their way to Modern Warfare 2, the devs finally revealed that Gun Game is arriving with the Season 2 update.

Gun Game coming to Modern Warfare 2 Season 2

The confirmation of Gun Game in Season 2 of Modern Warfare 2 is hot on the heels of a previous announcement revealing the return of Infected. Hopefully, the addition of new game modes will add gameplay variety and bring a refreshing new experience to Modern Warfare 2.

If you’re not familiar with Gun Game, it’s a free-for-all mode where each kill puts a different weapon in your hands. Players will race to cycle through the selection of guns first and win the game.

There’s still much to be revealed about Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 and perhaps the devs will confirm the arrival of other sought-after modes.

In addition, new maps are also high on the list of priorities for players and the devs will likely showcase what’s to come with the reveal of the Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 roadmap this week.
