After a remarkably long wait, Call of Duty has finally announced that The Boys’ Temp V Field Upgrade powers available in Warzone will be limited to the brand-new Supe’d Up mode.

Following the release of Season 4 Reloaded, Call of Duty announced its collaboration with the popular Amazon Prime series The Boys. Along with new Operators, Warzone also received new powers based on characters from the series to be able to use in-game.

Since its launch, the Temp V Field Upgrade in Warzone has been poorly received by an extensive amount of players who quickly shared their anger and annoyance at being forced to tolerate them in all game modes.

Warzone fans suggested that these powers should be exclusive to an LTM-style mode, which would avoid the need for everyone to play with them in standard modes.

Warzone 2 Supe’d Up Resurgence mode explained

Warzone 2’s Supe’d Up Resurgence is a new mode that will exclusively feature The Boys’ Temp V Field Upgrade during Season 4 Reloaded. This mode will be available in a specific Resurgence playlist within both Vondel and Ashika Island maps.

It will contain all the mechanics of the Resurgence mode, including the new Portable Redeploy Drones, and unlimited respawns, among others, ensuring a more frenetic and fun experience for players who choose to add the Temp V Field Upgrade into the mix.

This mode will allow players to keep enjoying the Temp V powers without interfering with other players that might just want to play the classic Battle Royale experiences in Warzone.

It seems that the Warzone developers made the change after listening to player feedback, doubling down on their previous tweak that reduced the amount of Temp V spawning in matches.

Finally, after a lengthy wait, players will now have the option to choose whether or not they want The Boys’ powers available in their Warzone matches.
