Warzone & Modern Warfare 2 Season 5 promo image teases return of Graves & classic weapon
ActivisionCall of Duty shared the first official promo images of Season 5 for Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone teasing the first look at the new Operators and the potential return of a fan-favorite weapon.
With Season 4 Reloaded coming to a close, players are expecting exciting new content to arrive in Season 5 of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2. The first promo images shared by Call of Duty offer players a sneak peek at the new Operators and weapons that will arrive in both titles during the new season.
The Season 5 images also tease the return of a familiar Modern Warfare 2 character from the campaign. Here’s a full breakdown of the official promo images of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone Season 5.
Warzone & Modern Warfare 2 Season 5 Operators
Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 Season 5 will feature three new Operators called Graves, Oz, and Mila. Graves will sound familiar to players who have played the MW2 Campaign.
Starting from the left is the Commander and CEO of the Shadow Company Phillip Graves. He appears as a secondary character in the Modern Warfare 2 campaign but later reveals himself as one of the antagonists.
Thankfully, Season 5 may shed light on how Graves managed to survive the end of the MW2 campaign and what his intentions are now that he has returned.
The next Operator in the image is named Oz, and based on a patch on his weapon, he also seems to be from the Shadow Company. Oz could possibly be a part of Graves’ team seeking revenge against Task Force 141.
And lastly, there’s a new Operator called Mila. While it’s difficult to identify her association, her clothing suggests she may also be part of Shadow Company.
Warzone & Modern Warfare 2 Season 5 classic weapon teased
Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 veteran players will easily recognize the weapon in the hands of the new Season 5 Operator Oz, as it bears a striking resemblance to the fan-favorite FAMAS Assault Rifle from Black Ops 1.
ActivisionThis Assault Rifle has appeared in multiple Call of Duty games, including titles in the Modern Warfare series, and is renowned for its fearsome power, high bullet speed, great accuracy, and excellent damage.
The key art also reveals Al Mazrah’s Observatory dome on fire, suggesting it has suffered some kind of explosion. According to the latest rumors, Season 5 might host a new in-game live event to reveal the next game, Modern Warfare 3, reportedly developed by Sledgehammer Games.
As of now, this is the only information shared by Call of Duty regarding the next season of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, but more details are expected to drop soon, now that Season 5 has officially been revealed.
