Warzone 2 players are expressing their opinions on the collab with Amazon’s The Boys, with many becoming fed up with the Temp V Field Upgrade superpowers.

Warzone 2 Season 4 Reloaded didn’t just introduce a new powerful Shotgun in the MX Guardian, which has immediately entered the meta, but the mid-season update also brought an exciting collaboration with the popular Amazon Prime TV series, The Boys.

The collab has introduced some brand-new Operators, who are some of the superheroes from The Boys. As well as this, there is also a new temporary Field Upgrade called Temp V, which contains Compound V, the substance from The Boys which gives the heroes their superpowers.

This new Field Upgrade gives players a random superpower from a pick of four: Charge Jump, Electric Shockwave, Laser Vision, and Teleport.

Despite being temporary and initially exciting, players have now become fed up with these superpowers, as many in the community are expressing frustration with them.

A post in the Warzone subreddit said “why are these gimmicky powers not an LTM mode?” clearly feeling as if the superpowers should be separated from the casual playlists similar to how the Temp V Field Upgrade is not in Ranked Play.

In the comments of the post, other users agreed with the OP, also feeling as if the superpowers should have been in a separate LTM. “The new powers should have been LTM for sure,” said one player, while another agreed, “they should’ve relegated it to a ltm.”

Some just straight-up do not like the Temp V superpowers, as some users shared some strong opinions about the Field Upgrade. One player said “yea the super powers are really stupid,” while another commented, “the laser eyes are dumb.”

In a completely different Reddit post, other users feel exactly the same, as one player even said the superpowers are “s**t, we loved COD for how real they kept it, it’s now just turning into Fortnite.”

Some in the community just don’t feel like the superpowers fit with Call of Duty’s brand, as another also said:

“bro I don’t understand I tried playing cod yesterday and I kept getting killed by some superman type nonsense bro this isn’t Fortnite get this stuff out of here”
