Warzone 2‘s next big update is set for July 12, as Season 4 Reloaded will be coming in hot with some fresh content such as a new Shotgun and a collaboration with the popular Amazon Prime TV series The Boys.
This exciting collab brings some of the superheroes from the series into the game as Operators, and that’s not all, as there will also be a new temporary Field Upgrade for players to use inspired by The Boys.
The new Field Upgrade is called Temp V, which is essentially the Compound V substance that gives the characters their superpowers in the show. The Temp V Field Upgrade in Call of Duty will do much of the same, so let’s get into the details.
What is the Warzone 2 Temp V Field Upgrade?
Temp V is a temporary Field Upgrade coming to Warzone 2 for Season 4 Reloaded that grants players “one of four random superpowers” in their Field Upgrade slot.
In the Warzone 2 Season 4 Reloaded blog, it’s explained that “once you use Temp V, you’re then free to activate this power whenever you wish… But if you’re eliminated from combat before activating the power, then like a normal Field Upgrade, it is lost upon death.”
All Warzone 2 Temp V superpowers
Here are all four of the superpowers you may get with the Warzone 2 Temp V Field Upgrade, as well as a description:
- Charge Jump: Players can charge their jump to propel them “across the map in leaps and bounds.” Players take no fall damage from a charged jump and will do splash damage to nearby enemies upon landing.
- Electric Shockwave: Send a “powerful electrical explosion” similar to an EMP that can injure Operators, AI, and even destroy vehicles and equipment.
- Laser Vision: Once used, you will levitate up and fire a laser beam “that sears through enemy targets.”
- Teleport: Players can use this superpower to teleport upwards, allowing you gain height nice and quickly.
