Warzone 2 expert claims a forgotten Assault Rifle has returned to the top in Warzone 2 Season 5, following a few buffs and nerfs that arrived with the latest update.

Warzone 2 Season 5 has brought a lot of content that players are still getting familiar with, including new weapons like the FR Avancer Assault Rifle and Carrack .300 Sniper Rifle, as well as new modes, Operators, and events.

This season, like the previous ones, also introduced its own weapon balancing with several buffs and nerfs that altered the meta and led players to look out for the best weapons to use in the game.

Luckily, JGOD claims the forgotten Kastov 762 Assault Rifle has reentered the meta competition to be players’ favorite, and here’s his best loadout for it.

JGOD’s best Kastov 762 loadout for Warzone 2

Muzzle: ZLR Talon 5
Barrel: KAS-10 584mm
Optic: Aim-OP V4
Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56
Magazine: 40 Round Mag

To kick off JGOD‘s best Warzone 2 Kastov 762 loadout, he opted for the ZLR Talon 5 muzzle to improve bullet velocity, damage range, and recoil smoothness. Combined with the FTAC Ripper 56 underbarrel, it further enhances recoil steadiness and improves hip fire accuracy.

Then, he chose the KAS-10 584mm barrel to boost movement and ADS speed, which allows players to move around the map faster, especially on smaller maps like Vondel and Ashika Island.

He picked the Aim-OP V4 optic that allows players to hunt enemies that are at far distances, mainly in Warzone 2’s Al Mazrah map. And lastly, the 40 Round magazine improves magazine capacity. However, JGOD pointed out in his video that this might be one of the few downsides of the gun, as its competitors have better ammo capacity.
