Strange Warzone 2 DMZ glitch leaves players permanently downed

Warzone 2 DMZ players are expressing discontent with frustrating glitches in the extraction mode, one of which is leaving players in a downed state permanently, despite being revived.

Usually, when players go down in Warzone 2, whether it be in the battle royale mode or DMZ, a revive will bring them back to life as long as they have a teammate or self-revive to do so.

Exclusive to the DMZ mode, players who are fully killed, meaning those who are finished after being in the downed state, can still be revived, taking longer than a standard revive.

Unfortunately, DMZ players are highlighting an issue in the extraction mode which is causing players to be permanently downed or dead, even if a teammate successfully revives them.

Reddit user iBattlemike highlighted this glitch on the Warzone subreddit, with a clip showing their teammate experiencing this permanently downed glitch. In the clip, you can see that the teammates attempt to revive the player, who has been fully finished.

After reviving them, they are able to move around, but their character model remains on the ground as if they are still dead.

In order to try and fix the glitch in-game, the player downs themself, as luckily they are able to still throw lethals. Their teammate then revives them again, in hopes that it will reset and fix the issue. This doesn’t work, of course leaving the player extremely frustrated, saying “what is this sh*t.”

While a glitch like this may seem quite humorous, in a game mode like DMZ, where players are at risk of losing everything they have gained in the match, issues such as this one can be very annoying.

Luckily, the players were able to figure out a way to get out of the glitch by letting the player go down again, and fully die by waiting for them to bleed out. The teammate then revives the player from this death state and they pop up like nothing happened.

Now that the new year has begun and developers will be returning to work, we may see some big updates and fixes to glitches like this and the broken Recent Players list soon.
