Warzone 2 players are encountering a glitch that is sending them to the Gulag even though they haven’t died.

Warzone 2 has its fair share of glitches and errors, and while Season 2 promises new content and fixes, players are still having to deal with problems in Season 1 Reloaded.

Usually, players are sent to the Gulag for their first death, which will be returning to the 1v1 format in Season 2. This gives players a second chance to return to Al Mazrah, which is a very unique mechanic to Warzone 2 that players enjoy.

That said, some players are being sent to the Gulag without cause, as despite not being in any danger, Reddit user DragoxDrago has posted a clip of a glitch that randomly sends his friend to the Gulag.

In the clip, the player is casually driving along when suddenly the Gulag cutscene starts to play, even though the player was in no danger of dying, leaving the OP to sarcastically say that the game is “absolutely fine!”

From the spectator’s point of view, things look a little different, as it seems the player’s car glitches out, sending it flying in the air until it finally explodes, killing the player and putting them in the Gulag.

This glitch is extremely strange, and others in the comments are finding it very amusing, as one comment said “I actually laughed out loud at this. Incredible.”

For some players, glitches like this just aggravate them, feeling as if a game as big as Warzone 2 shouldn’t have any issues like this, as one comment reads “Multi Billion Dollar company ladies and gentlemen.”

Luckily, the player hadn’t died yet, so they were able to get a second chance despite a glitch giving them an unexpected death. As Season 2 is set to release in February, perhaps the devs will introduce a fix for this crazy glitch.
