Modern Warfare 2 players are completely underwhelmed by the reward for completing Season 1 Reloaded’s Atomgrad Raid on Veteran Mode.

Modern Warfare 2 Raids have been the center of attention with the Season 1 Reloaded update. While the update also delivered Shipment and a new weapon to multiplayer, Raids are firmly in the spotlight.

The first offering from Modern Warfare 2’s Raids is a mission titled Atomgrad. Modern Warfare 2 players can expect five Raids in total and Atomgrad kicks things off by investigating an underground area.

This team-based mission will test groups of three players as they attempt to solve various puzzles and complete the Raid which is said to take roughly two hours. If you complete the Atomgrad Raid once, you’ll unlock a Veteran Mode option, which ups the difficulty level.

Naturally, completing the Atomgrad Raid on Veteran Mode will result in bonus rewards. Given that Veteran Mode presents a tough challenge, players expected a reward of equal value. However, they were disappointed to discover the Raids Veteran Mode reward in Season 1 Reloaded.

Modern Warfare 2 Atomgrad Raid Veteran Mode reward

The reward for completing Modern Warfare 2’s Atomgrad Raid on Veteran mode is the Punchline Blueprint. You can view the Reddit post above and make your own assumptions about the Shotgun Blueprint, but players deemed it to be ordinary and bland.

Other than the fact that it has Gaz’s name written on it, there’s nothing particularly special about the weapon. The Blueprint reward is getting ripped apart by Modern Warfare 2 players who are disappointed with the reward: “This has got to be some sort of sick joke right?”

While players seemed to enjoy the Raids gameplay itself, the lackluster reward is far from satisfying as one player explained, “Me and my squad just finished it. It was super intense and really fun to play through, I just wish there were better rewards.”

Another player pointed out how appropriate the Blueprint’s name is considering the sick joke involved in unlocking it: “Hence, the punchline.”
