Modern Warfare 2’s Raids mode has arrived with the Season 1 Reloaded update, but how long does it take to complete one?

Modern Warfare 2’s Raids are a brand-new experience for Call of Duty, tasking squads of three to complete a story-driven mission, battling AI, and solving puzzles as they go. The mode has arrived with the Season 1 Reloaded update and there will be rewards on offer such as Gaz as an Operator and the most dedicated players can take on the Veteran Mode once they’ve completed Atomgrad.

But how much time do you have to set aside to complete a Modern Warfare 2 Raid? Infinity Ward have revealed how long it’ll take players to complete their first Raid.

According to Infinity Ward, it will take Modern Warfare 2 players roughly two hours to complete the Atomgrad Raid on their first playthrough. There will be five Raids in total, each coming in at roughly two hours as well.

While completing the Raid for the first time will take roughly two hours, the devs encourage players to play through the Atomgrad several times to uncover all of the secrets and earn all the rewards.

The paths will be randomized so you won’t have the exact same experience each time, nor can you just watch a YouTube video to learn exactly how to do it.

We expect players will be able to get through the Raid incredibly fast once they’ve learned the routes and puzzles, but Veteran Mode will offer a more challenging experience for those looking to test themselves further.

Infinity Ward said that Raids won’t be the best place to earn XP but you’ll be able to earn several rewards by replaying the mode.
