There are a lot of things that Pokemon trainers can do after completing the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet main story. These include getting the Master Ball, fighting some of the most powerful trainers in Paldea, and traveling to new regions.

Pokemon games have a long history of ending their main stories right after defeating the Elite Four and becoming a Champion. Many narrative-driven moments usually come before finishing the Gym Leader’s challenge and the Pokemon League presents itself as the ultimate test.

In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, things are not like most mainline games, and there’s a lot to explore in Area Zero after becoming Paldea’s Champion. After taking on the Elite Four, the game is not over, as all of the post-game content will become available.

Some Legendary Pokemon will require players to search for certain items across Paldea, and some of them might not be in Paldea at all, but be sure to catch ’em all to complete all the Pokedex entries.

Complete Scarlet & Violet Pokedex

There are a lot of new Gen 9 Pokemon available to catch in the Paldea region, but some others are in the Kitakami Islands, locked behind The Teal Mask DLC. With over 400 Pokedex entries to collect, players will want to catch every single creature when they finish the game.

A friendly reminder that not every Pokemon is available in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet and some of them can’t even be transferred from Pokemon HOME. Be sure to check our guide to know if your favorite Pokemon is present in Paldea.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: Beat the Academy Ace Tournament

By finishing Geeta’s request and beating every single Gym Leader again in the post-game, you can unlock the Academy Ace Tournament. This is one of the hardest challenges in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, so players should bring their best teams to the test.

This tournament is also one of the best ways to farm EXP points in the game and great Pokemon battle practice. If you want to know more about how to get fast EXP and level up your Pokemon, don’t miss our complete guide on the best farming methods.

The 6-star and 7-star raids are the most difficult battles in all of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, so be sure to prepare a perfectly balanced team and know your types.
