Pokemon Scarlet & Violet players share tips to catch shiny Ditto multiple times a day

Now, a few fans have shared some handy tips to quickly spot Ditto and get its shiny version in the Paldea region.
After completing the Teal Mask DLC, most Pokemon fans are journeying back to the Paldea region in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet to beat Tera Raids and hunt for more shiny species in the game.
Shiny hunting is undoubtedly one of the favorite activities among the Pokemon community as they spend hours finding even one shiny while hoping to catch more of them.
So when a player bagged six shiny Ditto in one day, many couldn’t believe it. Still, others shared some extremely useful tips to not only find this elusive species but also catch multiple shiny Ditto without much effort.
Pokemon Scarlet & Violet players give tips to make shiny Ditto hunting quick & easy
A Reddit post shared by user ‘Real_Jest’ showed the player with an entire team of shiny Ditto in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. The post also states that all these shinies were caught in one day.
The OP’s feat is definitely impressive considering that one user wrote, “It took me over 6 months just to find 1 shiny Ditto” while another added, “That’s extremely lucky! I’m hoping to get one too eventually.”
When asked what the “secret to shiny hunting Ditto” was, a player gave a detailed answer:
“Ditto both a) behaves differently than the other mons (ie, if the mon would normally run away from you, this one doesn’t; if they would normally charge you, this one doesn’t) and b) are always sized Large. So go after every suspiciously big Pokemon you see by the lighthouse, odds are they’re going to be Ditto.”
Another user suggested “pressing ZL on every Pokemon in the area to check if it’s a Ditto.”
Aside from tips on spotting a Ditto, comments highlighted how the chances of it being shiny could be improved: “I recommend using sandwich recipes. If it seems like there are no Ditto left, you can kinda glide towards the town and back to immediately reset the spawns.”
