Candies are some of the most important parts of Pokemon Go and players recall several Candy features and bonuses in previous events that they’d love to be a regular part of their grind.

Becoming a top-notch trainer in Pokemon Go is no easy task. You need to catch the best Pokemon available and power them up to their highest level, to help you dominate PvP and PvE battles.

But, getting this done requires several resources such as Stardust, TMs, and Candies. While the first two are relatively easy to come by, Candies are a different ballgame altogether as they’re specific to each species. Additionally, the rare and XL versions are often a nightmare to find.

Now, several fans are eager to have some exciting Candy perks from the past as regular features in Pokemon Go. This emerged after a Reddit user named ‘rtamez509’ asked, “What features from events do you wish were permanent?” in a post.

The OP added: “Personally, I think the ‘getting more candies depending on a nice, great or excellent throw’ is an amazing idea and should be permanent.”

This suggestion instantly struck a chord with several trainers enthusiastic about having the Candy features onboard.

A trainer said, “More candy for nice and great throws. I miss it,” as another commented: “1 Candy for Nice, 2 for Great and 3 Candies for Excellent throw.”

Others were more interested in XL Candy, the resource needed to max out a Pokemon to level 50, and they stated that trading for guaranteed XL Candy in Pokemon Go is a feature they’d be up for.

As more trainers joined the XL Candy bandwagon, they agreed that they “have so many Pokemon waiting to be traded for the XL.” One even mentioned: “Fr! XL Candies are way too hard to get I don’t love that, too grindy!”

While these were perks available in events done and dusted, a few even wished for a new feature of having XLs converted to regular Candy.

The return of biomes, extra gift storage, and single Incubators from PokeStops were other picks, most are looking for the Candy bonuses. Meanwhile, you can tag along with your in-game friends to battle the ongoing 5-Star Raids and have a great chance at XL Candy drops.
