Pokemon Go player stuck inside has their Sinnoh Tour “saved” by clever Palkia Origin trick
NianticPalkia Origin forme and its signature move, Spacial Rend, came to the rescue of a Pokemon Go player who thought they would not be able to play the Go Tour: Sinnoh event.
Go Tour events are a huge favorite among Pokemon Go fans as they let them enjoy the very best a Pokemon region has to offer, including shinies, Legendaries, debuts of fan favorites, and so much more.
With the Origin forms of Dialga and Palkia headlining the Sinnoh Tour, everyone was hyped. But, when a player’s wife fell sick ahead of the event and was unable to leave their home, little did they expect that one of these iconic Legendaries would be the very reason behind them playing the event scot-free!
The trainer, named ‘Entire_Pineapple4732’ on Reddit, wrote, “Spacial Rend saved my wive’s Go Tour” in a post and explained how the Adventure Effects from Palkia Origin’s signature move doubled the spawn radius around their home and using Lure Modules, they didn’t have to miss the event.
Players praised the OP’s quick thinking to use Spacial Rend and “beating the game” to make the event memorable for them and their wife, as fans wished them a speedy recovery as well.
Another trainer mentioned that they had done the same with Spacial Rend and it was the reason they chose Palkia as their Sinnoh Tour version. They added that it would make more Pokemon Go events like the Community Day better when the weather’s too rough to step out.
More agreed that Spacial Rend’s awesome Adventure Effects can “save the day” in such situations, and one player even pointed out a helpful trick to make the most of it in the future.
“It was massively helpful in assisting with completing page 1 of the Masterwork research,” they said, referring to the grueling tasks of catching around 2000 Pokemon for the shiny Shaymin quest.
Many agreed that Dialga Origin and its move Roar of Time were inferior in Pokemon Go, and those who chose the former hoped that they would use an Elite Charged TM in the future to teach Spacial Rend to Palkia, which is also more dominant in the Master League.
