The Pokemon Company and Pokemon Go collaboration event to celebrate the arrival of Pokemon Horizons to Netflix is up and running, and here’s all you need to know about the new Horizons: The Series Celebration event.

Pokemon Go and The Pokemon Company announced during the Pokemon Presents a new collaboration event to celebrate the Pokemon Horizons series, and this brought a lot of new content to the game.

Pokemon Horizons and Pokemon Go are making their first collaboration event.

The Pokemon Go Horizons event will run from Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at 10 AM to Monday, March 11, 2024, at 8 PM local time.

The event celebrates the arrival of Pokemon Horizons: The Series to Netflix and BBC iPlayer on March 7. And brought new Paldean Pokemon debuts, more bonuses, and even a new costumed Pikachu with its own special move.

Charcadet, Armarouge, and Ceruledge debuts

Charcadet can evolve into Armarouge or Ceruledge.

Charcadet, the Fire Child Pokemon has debtuted in Pokemon Go, and with it, its two evolutions Armarouge and Ceruledge.

You can evolve Charcadet by battling Pokemon while having it as your buddy. To evolve Charcadet into Ceruledge, you need to defeat 30 Ghost-type Pokemon, and to evolve it into Armarouge, you need to defeat 30 Psychic-type Pokemon.

Pikachu with Cap’s Hat and new Legacy Move

A new costumed Pikachu will be available during the Pokemon Go Horizons event, and it resembles the Pikachu called ‘Cap’ or ‘Captain’ from the Horizons show.

Pikachu wearing Cap’s hat debuted alongside its shiny version, and it can even have its signature move from the show ‘Volt Tackle.’

Volt Tackle is a charged move with 90 power in trainer and Pokemon battles, which lowers the rival’s defense by one stage.

Pokemon Go Horizons event bonuses

The following bonuses will be active during the Pokemon Go Horizons event:

  • 2× XP for hatching Pokémon.
  • Team GO Rocket balloons will appear more frequently.
  • Taking snapshots of Pokemon will have a surprise *Liko and Roy can appear in the background.
  • PokeStop showcases will be active during the event.

Wild encounters

The following Pokemon will spawn more frequently in the wild during the Pokemon Go Horizons event. Pokemon marked with a * can be shiny:

  • Scyther*
  • Nosepass*
  • Sprigatito
  • Fuecoco
  • Quaxly
  • Pawmi
  • Pikachu wearing Cap’s hat*
  • Alolan Grimer*
  • Beldum*

Research encounters

These Pokemon will be spawning on research encounters during the event. Pokemon marked with a * can be shiny:

  • Sprigatito
  • Fuecoco
  • Quaxly

Egg encounters

The following Pokemon will be hatching from eggs during the Pokemon Go Horizons event. Pokemon marked with a * can be shiny:

2, 5 & 10-km eggs

  • Charcadet

After this event, Charcadet will only hatch from 10-km eggs.

Pokemon Go Horizons event Raids

The following Raids will be active during the Pokemon Go Horizons event:

1-Star Raids

  • Pikachu wearing Cap’s hat*
  • Rhyhorn*
  • Rockruff*

3-Star Raids

  • Chansey*
  • Noctowl
  • Metagross

Those raids marked with a * have chances of yielding a shiny Pokemon encounter upon completion.
