Pokemon Go’s group event, Party Up! is here, and it features a lot of interesting bonuses for the participants. So, here’s all you need to know about the Party Up! event, including schedule, Raids, costumed Wurmple debut, and more.

Pokemon Go has trainers all around the world enjoying the last days of Season Adventures Abound and preparing for the next one that is scheduled for December 1, 2023. The Party Play feature will have its spotlight event soon, and trainers need to prepare to grind a lot with their preferred party members.

This event will be the first one designed to be played in teams, and the bonuses and Research tasks will probably involve a lot of group challenges and, of course, Pokemon catching. Trainers should also know that this will be the last event of the season

Pokemon Go Party Up! event start date & schedule

The Pokemon Go Party Up! event has started and will run from November 22, at 10 AM local time, to November 27, at 8 PM local time.

This event will be the first event to spotlight the Party Play feature, so it is expected that it will require trainers to gather their party members to complete certain tasks.

Pokemon Go Party Up! event costumed Pokemon debuts

A special costumed Wurmple will debut during the Pokemon Go Party Up! event and will be available for all trainers.

Wurmple wearing a Party Hat will also appear as an encounter reward for certain Timed Research tasks and Field Research rewards.

Pokemon Go Party Up! event bonuses

Pokemon Go trainers participating in the Party Up! event will enjoy the following bonuses:

  • Up to five Special Trades can be made per day.
  • Two additional Candy for trading Pokemon.
  • Trainers from level 31 and above are guaranteed to receive Candy XL for trading Pokemon.
  • 2x XP for completing Raid Battles.
  • PokeStop showcases will be active during the event featuring Fuecoco, Quaxly, and Sprigatito.

Some of the tasks from the Timed Research might involve playing in groups.

  • Fuecoco
  • Quaxly

  • Nymble
  • Pawmi
  • Smoliv
  • Tadbulb

The encounters will be a good chance to get some of the featured Pokemon from this season.

The following Pokemon will be featured in Raids during the Pokemon Go Party Up! event – those marked with a (*) can be encountered in their shiny versions:

1-Star Raids

  • Hisuian Growlithe*
  • Nosepass*
  • Dwebble*
  • Klink*
  • Lechonk*

3-Star Raids

  • Rhydon
  • Pelipper
  • Gardevoir*
  • Bombirdier*

4-Star Raids

  • Terrakion*
  • Mega Kangaskhan*

It is worth mentioning that shiny Raid Pokemon have a 100% catch rate, so, if you encounter one of these after a successful Raid, be sure to throw them a Pinup Berry.

Pokemon Go Party Up! Special & Timed Research

A Special Timed Research will be available during the Pokemon Go Party Up! event and for trainers who did not complete the Seasonal Timed Investigation, a Paid Special Research with a Master Ball as a reward will be available too.

The Special Timed Research will be available for all players, and trainers who complete the following Research tasks will receive these rewards:

Upon finishing all the Research tasks, trainers can collect the following completion rewards:

  • XP x 5000
  • Stardust x 2000
  • Encounter with Wurmple wearing a Party Hat

For players who want to get another chance for a Master Ball, the Special Master Ball Research will be available for purchase for 7 USD or the equivalent in your local currency. Keep in mind that trainers who already completed the Free Timed Research before the event, won’t be able to get this Special Master Ball Research.
