Ceruledge is one of the most sought-after species in Pokemon Go but players have highlighted a bug that evolves Charcadet to Armarouge only. Luckily, they also shared how to prevent the frustrating glitch.

The Horizons event in Pokemon Go debuted one of the most iconic Pokemon from the Scarlet and Violet games, Charcadet and its evolutions, Armarouge and Ceruledge.

While both evolutions are incredibly popular, Ceruledge seems to be the clear favorite, thanks to its better stats and type combination, making it the go-to Pokemon among the community.

Now, a few trainers have pointed out a shocking bug that evolves Charcadet into Armarouge regardless of which evolution you’re trying to get.

This came to light after a Reddit user named ‘JowgenITP’ posted: “Charcadet will default evolve into Armarouge if both adventure requirements are met.” You should know that you should beat 30 Psychic-types with Charcadet as your Buddy to evolve it into Armarouge, and 30 Ghost-types to get Ceruledge.

But players who have met both requirements are getting Armarouge even if they want to evolve Charcadet into Ceruledge.

A fellow trainer confirmed this bug by commenting, “Just recreated this myself: Got to 30 Ghosts off a TGR grunt with Psychic at 26, did four remote Metagross raids, and it let me do ‘both:’ hit the Ceruledge button and got Armarouge.”

This prompted the OP to warn: “If you’re trying to get a Ceruledge, for the love of Arceus, do NOT accidentally defeat 30 Psychic types whilst at it,” as others were taken aback by this piece of info.

When a player asked if it depends on which requirement is met first, the OP replied that regardless of which task is completed before, if both are done, Armarouge is the only possible evolution.

Charcadet is available in Pokemon Go in 2km, 5km, and 10km Eggs until the Horizons event ends on March 11, 2024, after which it will be limited to 10km Eggs.
