Unfortunately, the reason why you can’t view your Pokemon’s IV stats early on is because they can only be viewed once you’ve defeated the Elite Four for the first time and achieved your dream of being a Pokemon Champion in Scarlet & Violet.
Meaning, you’ve got many, many hours of grafting and hard work to put in first, but once you do, you will finally have access to IV in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet.
How to use the IV Checker in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet
If you’ve been able to conquer the Elite Four, then you will ust need to visit a Pokemon Center to gain access to the feature properly.
These are the precise instructions to follow:
- Beat the Elite Four.
- Head to your nearest Pokemon Center once you’ve done this.
- Talk to the main receptionist there.
- You should recieve the Judge Feature.
- Now, open up the Pokemon Box, and select which of your caught ‘Mon to check the full stats of.
- Press + twice on the Pokemon, and you will now get a full viewing of a Pokemon’s IV stats.
