The Mythical Pokemon Meloetta has a secret spawn method hidden in the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC. Here’s how to make Meloetta spawn and how to catch it in The Indigo Disk DLC.

The Indigo Disk is the latest expansion of the world of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, and with it comes a lot of content to unlock. From a new Elite Four to a complete list of past games Legendary Pokemon, trainers have a lot in stock at the Blueberry Academy.

Legendary and Mythical Pokemon are some of the rarest catches a player can get in a Pokemon game. The Indigo Disk DLC hides one rare Mythical Pokemon catch from Unova, the region where the Gen 5 Pokemon games take place.

If you want to add a strong and rare creature to your team, here’s how to catch the Mythical Pokemon Meloetta in the Scarlet and Violet DLC.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet DLC: How to make Meloetta spawn

To make Meloetta spawn in the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC, players will first need to locate the spawn area in the Coastal Biome of the Terarium and follow some very specific steps.

East of the Coastal Outdoor Classroom, there’s a large area with a small lake and a waterfall. Once there, you must find a tornado made from leaves that is close to the biggest tree in this area. When you find the wind circle, step inside, and follow these instructions:

1. Inside the wind circle, start spinning your left analog stick clockwise until the trainer starts spinning.
2. Spin for 10+ seconds inside the wind circle, stop, and open the Rotom Phone’s camera.
3. Use the left d-pad to switch the camera’s filter to Sepia.
4. After a few seconds, the music will change, and Meloetta’s Relic Song will start.
5. When you hear the song, exit the camera and look for Meloetta as it spawns around the wind circle area.

How to catch Meloetta in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC

To catch Meloetta in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC, simply approach its 3D model that spawns after following the steps above. This will initiate a battle that will let you defeat or catch Meloetta.

Meloetta is one of the hardest Pokemon to catch in The Indigo Disk DLC, so prepare some sleep moves and Ultra Balls. If you follow her spawn method during the night, you can also use Dusk Balls for better chances of catching it.

The Mythical Pokemon has two forms, one being the Aria Form, and the other the Pirouette Form. To change between one and the other, Meloetta must use the Relic Song move, and like this, it will change from a Normal/Psychic-type into a Normal/Fighting-type, resetting after the battle ends.
