Pokemon Scarlet and Violet has a secret ending cutscene that can be unlocked once you finish The Indigo Disk DLC. If you want to see the game’s true ending, here’s all you need to do.

The Indigo Disk DLC is the last content expansion of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, and after the ending of the base game, there is still much to discover. The expeditions to Area Zero continue in the DLC, and a new Legendary Pokemon can be caught in the process, as well as new Paradox forms.

Once you finish all there is to do in The Indigo Disk, some teachers will call you to different places of the Blueberry Academy. Professor Briar will be waiting for you in one of the classrooms, and she will give you a gift that starts the quest to unlock the true ending.

To unlock the true ending of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, players must obtain the Briar’s Book from Professor Briar once they finish The Indigo Disk DLC main story. This book is a record of all your last Area Zero adventures and can trigger the game’s true ending if taken to the correct spot.

Then, travel to the Crystal Pool at Kitakami Island and reach the pier on the lake inside the sleeping volcano. If you have Briar’s book on you, you will trigger the game’s secret ending cutscene featuring Professor Turo or Sada, depending on which version of the game you have.

Unlocking the game’s true ending and watching the secret cutscene will change the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet menu screen into a new one. Professor Turo’s Violet Book will be on the table, as well as a nice twilight that can be seen from the room’s window.

After that, all that remains in your adventure is to play the Mochi Mayhem Epilogue Quest to discover more about Kitakami’s lore.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC: How to trigger secret battle cutscene

The Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC also features a secret battle cutscene that can be triggered if you bring Ogerpon into Kieran’s fight at the Blueberry Academy’s entrance.
