The Indigo Disk DLC of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet gives players new opportunities to battle and catch powerful Paradox Pokemon like Gouging Fire. Here’s how to get the Paradox version of Entei in the game.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players have a lot to discover now that The Indigo Disk DLC is officially out. Thanks to the Blueberry Academy and its Terarium, trainers now have many more Pokemon to catch in special biomes. What’s more, new questlines are also bringing Pokemon back alongside interesting debuts for the franchise.

Gouging Fire is a new Paradox Pokemon players can get in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet The Indigo Disk DLC, so here’s everything you need to know to catch it.

How to catch Gouging Fire in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

To get Gouging Fire, Pokemon Scarlet players need to complete Perrin’s quest in The Indigo Disk DLC. You can find Perrin at the start of the second DLC, so you shouldn’t have trouble spotting her.

Gouging Fire is the Paradox version of Legendary Pokemon Entei.

Perrin’s new quest is similar to the one in The Teal Mask DLC, meaning you’ll need to register 200 Pokemon in your Blueberry Pokedex. Once you do that, Perrin will show you pictures of different locations in Area Zero, where you’ll find the newly introduced Paradox Pokemon.

It’s important to note that Gouging Fire, the Fire/Dragon-type Paradox version of Entei, is a Pokemon Scarlet exclusive like Raging Bolt. Pokemon Violet players can only get this creature by trading with other trainers.

That’s everything you need to know to get Gouging Fire in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
