Incarnate Forme Tornadus in Pokemon Go

Pokemon Go brought back the highly requested Legendary Pokemon from the Unova Region Tornadus for limited-time 5-Star Raids, so here’s how to beat and catch it.

Season 10 of Pokemon Go titled Rising Heroes is live and the first 5-Star Raid is headlined by Legendary Pokemon Tornadus. Players can tackle this particular challenge for a chance to catch the Unova Pokemon in its Incarnate Forme.

Here you’ll find all of Tornadus’ weaknesses as well as the best counters for the 5-Star Raid.

How to get Tornadus in Pokemon Go

The only way to get Tornadus in Pokemon Go is by defeating it in its 5-Star Raid and catching it afterward. Some Legendary Pokemon return to the game after a while with easier challenges, but this is the only way to get Tornadus so far.

The 5-Star Raids are ongoing and players have a chance to encounter a shiny Tornadus, so be on the lookout.

Tornadus is back in Pokemon Go for a new 5-Star Raid.

All Tornadus weaknesses & best counters in Pokemon Go

Tornadus is a Flying-type Pokemon, which means it’s weak against Electric, Rock, and Ice-type attacks. It’s recommended to face this 5-Star Raid with at least three high leveled trainers, but it can also be attainable with a group of 5 to 7 lower-level Pokemon Go players.

While you have three Pokemon types to choose from, your best option for taking down Tornadus is going with pure Electric and Ice-type Pokemon. Rock-type Pokemon will be vulnerable to Tornadus’ Charged Move Grass Knot, so you should probably avoid that category.

With that said, some of the best counters for this Raid include Manectric, Ampharos, Glalie, Abomasnow, Xurkitree, Zekrom, Electivire, Galarian Darmanitan, Raikou, Zapdos, and Magnezone. Mamoswine could be a good option to deal massive damage but beware of its dual Ground and Ice-typing since it will also be weak against Grass Knot.

If you have Mega Energy to evolve any of these counters during the Raid, Tornadus is a worthy opponent to use it against.
