Honkai Star Rail keeps indulging players with many new characters to try in every update. Version 1.3 of HoYoverse’s RPG brought the powerful Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae alongside Fu Xuan and Lynx, and many are already thinking about what’s coming next.

Recent leaks have shed some light on Sakura, another powerful character that might soon join the Trailblazers in their adventures. So, here’s everything we know about Sakura so far, including her leaked abilities and more.

Who is Sakura in Honkai Star Rail?

According to leaks, Sakura is an upcoming five-star character in Honkai Star Rail. While fans think it’s the same Sakura from Honkai Impact 3rd, this hasn’t been confirmed by HoYoverse just yet.

Her abilities leaked a long time ago and resurfaced recently, making players believe she might debut soon. On the other hand, however, leakers suggest we take this information with a pinch of salt since the character was part of the devkit way before Honkai Star Rail launched. This could mean the character might not even be playable, but we’ll keep you updated.

Does Sakura have a release date in Honkai Star Rail?

No, there isn’t a Sakura release date for Honkai Star Rail yet. As we mentioned, all we know about Sakura in Honkai Star Rail is thanks to leaks, so players will have to keep waiting.

Fans believe she could debut with update 1.6 at the earliest, meaning she could debut in 2024 if everything works out.

Sakura leaked abilities in Honkai Star Rail

Sakura is a five-star Ice element character in the Path of The Hunt in Honkai Star Rail. This means she’s a DPS focused on dealing massive damage with powerful single-target attacks.

These are Sakura’s abilities in Honkai Star Rail, according to leaks:

• Basic ATK – Deals Ice DMG to a single enemy.
• Skill – Closing the sword stance increases the multiplier of the next pummel attack and gains one extra turn. Additionally, increases Blast Damage for a number or rounds.
• Ultimate – Deals Ice DMG to a single enemy. If the target is in Weakness Break status, it continues attacking the target for additional Ice DMG.
• Talent – When hitting an enemy in the Weakness Break state, ignores part of the target’s defense and increases SPD until the start of the next turn.

Sakura’s leaked abilities don’t say much about the character, although she seems to combine different aspects of other characters in the Path of The Hunt. That said, players already love Yanqing, another Ice element character from The Hunt, so we’ll have to wait and see what Sakura can add to the game when she comes out.
